Horst 1960

Mein bester und ältester Freund ist Horst (Manfredo, Guschte) Eichin. Ein absoluter Computermuffel, also wird er diese Seite wahrscheinlich nie sehen, wenn ich sie ihm nicht zeige ......... Wir sind seit 1950 (!) Freunde, gleiche Schule, (fast) gleiches Studium, gleicher Beruf. Die Jahre 1958 bis  1962 lebten wir zusammen im Handschuhsheimer Klausenpfad. Den Sommer und Herbst 1957 verbrachten wir gemeinsam in Lincolnshire, England. Wir teilen die Liebe zum Jazz, zum Sport (er übertreibt gern), zur englischen Sprache. Er kann auch Italienisch, klar. Seine Frau Ida ist Italienerin. Er ist seit Sommer 2001 im Ruhestand.

This is Dennis Hessner from Delavan, Wisconsin, USA. His friendship is a by-product of my first AATG-PAD program in 1983. He chaperoned our first group of American students and came back for three more years as a chaperone and as a friend. I visited him and his wife Carole in Delavan in 1985 and we had a great time. Dennis is in love with Germany, Schramberg and Lauterbach.  He tries to be here as often as he can. His visit in July 2000 was a great surprise. He came partly officially as a representative of AATG for my  retirement celebration. He is quite skilful with a computer.
